Terms of Service
These terms form the agreement between you and [to be completed] (“we”) for the use of VitalCrawl (the “Service”). By creating an account you accept them. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may bind it.
1. The Service
The Service checks websites and other endpoints you add — availability, certificates, domains, SEO signals, performance, security and compliance indicators — and notifies you about problems and changes. Findings are automated indicators, not legal, security or SEO advice; in particular, compliance findings describe risks and do not establish that a law was breached.
2. Your account
- Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity in your account and your team.
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current — we send alerts and important notices there.
- You must be at least 16 years old and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
3. Acceptable use
Only monitor websites and systems that you own or are authorised to monitor. Do not use the Service to overload, probe or attack third-party systems, to circumvent access controls, or for anything unlawful. Our checks identify themselves (see the bot page) and respect reasonable rate limits; we may block monitors that harm the monitored site or third parties.
4. Trial, plans and payment
New accounts get a free trial of the Freelancer plan. After it, the account moves to the Free plan unless you buy a paid plan; prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and in Billing.
Paid plans are bought for a period in advance (one month or longer) and do not renew automatically: nothing is charged without your action. You can extend or switch plans at any time; the unused part of the current period is carried over by its value.
Prices are set in US dollars. Payments are processed by Robokassa and charged in Russian rubles at the Bank of Russia rate on the day of payment; your bank converts the amount to your card’s currency and may charge its own fees. Cards issued in the USA, Canada, Singapore and Turkey are not accepted by the payment provider. A fiscal receipt is issued as required by Russian law.
To decide: Refund policy (for example, a full refund on request within 14 days of the first payment) and whether consumers can sign up; taxes on foreign sales (ask your accountant about VAT/НДС for exported services).
5. Your data
You keep all rights to the data you put into the Service. We process it to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy; where it includes personal data of others, the Data Processing Agreement is part of these terms. You can export your data and delete your account at any time in Settings.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every problem will be detected. We may change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the Service you pay for.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
To decide: Keep or change the liability cap (fees paid in the last 12 months is common for monitoring services).
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where possible. After closure the data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by [to be completed].
To decide: Choose governing law and courts. For a Russian sole proprietor the simplest is Russian law and the courts at the seller’s location; set LEGAL_GLOBAL_GOVERNING_LAW.
